Under instruction of Chairman of Investigative Committee of Russia, Central Office takes control over procedural probe into infringement of internal regulations of Correctional Facility in Amur region by member of Tsapki gang

The Amur Regional Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation have launched a procedural probe into an infringement of the internal regulations of Correctional Facility of Amur Regional Directorate of Federal Penal Correction Service of Russia by Vyacheslav Tsepovyasov, a condemned member of Tsapki gang.

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the Central Office of the Committee to supervise the process of pre-investigation probe and to give a strict legal evaluation to actions of correctional facility staff who, according to mass media reports, are trying to ease the conditions, in which the person, who committed heinous crimes against person, is serving his sentence. Alexander Bastrykin instructed to launch the probe immediately if the pre-investigation probe reveals any signs of official misconduct or corruption.
