The Moscow Main Investigations Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation investigates a probe under Article 105, Part 2 of the Criminal Code of Russia (murder of two or more persons).

As it was reported earlier, in the evening of November 7, 2018, in an apartment of a residential building on Sofia Kovalevskaya Street in Moscow, bodies of a woman and a minor had been found with signs of a violent death.

A man born in 1988 involved in the brutal murder of the woman and the minor was arrested thanks to cooperation between investigators, forensic officers, and criminal investigation police officers. Search activities that are being carried out in his apartment have already revealed the clothes of the victims. Forensic experts of the Investigative Committee of Russia are also working at the scene, gathering and registering evidence to prove the suspect's involvement in the crime.

In short time, he will be delivered for immediate investigative activities. The investigation is ongoing.
