The Orenburg Regional Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation opened an investigation into his disappearance.

Cross-country vehicles, quadcopters, thermal cameras, ‘light tower’ lighting systems, forensic light sources, flashlights, and other high-tech forensic equipment were actively applied during the search.

The boy’s description: looks like a 10-year-old, around 140 cm tall, thin, brown eyes, blond hair. He was wearing a short red hoodie jacket with black inserts on the pockets and cuffs; knee pocket light blue jeans; a black woolly hat; black boots (with white edging on the sole); a blue T-shirt. He had neither money nor a mobile phone on him.
