On December 12, 2018, the Head of the Perm Regional Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Sergey Sarapultsev awarded Perm Municipal District citizens Gennadiy A. Shadrin and Gennadiy I. Shadrin with Certificates of Merit and gift certificates for their active participation and contribution in search for missing people.
Ro remind, in the morning of November 25, 2018, law enforcement authorities received a report about two boys, of 13 and 10 years old, missing in a forest in Perm District. The Perm Regional Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation immediately launched a pre-investigative probe.
Search activities were immediately arranged in order to to establish the whereabouts of the missing children,. Officers of the Perm Regional Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, as well as district administration staff, search and rescue volunteers, local hunters and concerned citizems of Perm Territory promptly arrived at the scene.
Snowmobiles, cross-country vehicles, quad copters, thermal cameras, "light tower" lighting systems, and other high-tech forensic equipment were actively applied during the search due to heavy snowfall and the darkness.
Thanks to the timely and proper response to the report on the disappearance of the children, the children were found alive by hunters from Chuvaki rural settlement of Perm District Gennady Ivanovich Shadrin and Gennady Aleksandrovich Shadrin, the next day at 3 AM, despite the cold weather and night hours.
The Regional Investigations Directorate of Investigative Committee of Russia ones again expresses its gratitude to citizens who take an active part in search for missing people, for their active citizenship, full support and assistance in the work of law enforcement agencies. Wide-scale search with the help of local citizens was organized by search-and rescue group Missing Children Search Perm and Perm Territory in Perm, Berezniki, Kungur, Krasnokamsk. It must be noted that for many years volunteers of Perm Territory have been bringing together citizens of the city and region and provide a significant assistance in search for missing children and adult citizens.
