Alexander Bastrykin sends forensic experts of the Central Office to Perm Territory in order to provide assistance in investigation into death of workers

Upon instruction of the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin experienced forensic experts were sent to Perm Territory to provide comprehensive practical assistance, carry out required investigative activities and determine all circumstances of the accident in a mine of Solikamsk Region involving death of 9 people as a result of fire.

As it was reported earlier, in the morning of December 22, 2018 a smoke was registered during construction process in the building mine shaft in Solikamsk Region of Perm Territory. At that moment 9 staff members of a contractor organization were in the mine and died as a result of fire. Investigation has launched a probe into Part 3 of Article 216 of the Criminal Code of Russia (violation of safety rules during mining, building and other activities entailing the death of two or more persons).
