On 24 October 2014, 19 students of school No 111 of the city of Perm were received at a hospital with suspicion of an enteric infection of unidentified etiology. Five of them were hospitalized. The Perm Territory investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have launched a pre-investigating check into the incident.

At present 5 schoolchildren are still at hospital. Their condition is stable and satisfying. The school has been closed for quarantine. Investigators and specialists of the Russian Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing are taking necessary measures to find out all the circumstances of what happened. A procedural decision will be made following the check.
