In Krasnoyarsk Territory, location of child established

The search for the four-year-old boy who had left the grounds of his house in Berezovka rural settlement of Irbeisky District in the evening of September 5 has been successful. He is found alive!

As previously reported, on September 5, 2019, at around 5 PM, a 39-year-old man had gone to the forest to get mushrooms, and his 33-year-old wife had stayed at home with their four children, the oldest of whom had been four years old. She had left her two older children to play on the grounds and gone to the house to take care of the younger children. When the woman had gone outside about half an hour later, she had not found her four-year-old son, and his three-year-old brother had barely explained that he had opened the gate and left for the nearby forest. During the search, shoe marks, allegedly belonging to the child, were found approximately 1.5 kilometers from his home.

An investigative and operational group led by forensics investigators from the Central Office of the Investigative Committee of Russia examined the scene. Over 250 people took part in the search events, including the staff of the Forensics Department of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Main Investigations Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, experienced investigators of the Regional Directorate, officers of the internal affairs authorities, including a canine team, specialists of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, representatives of search teams, volunteers, and local residents.

At present, the child has been examined by healthcare specialists in order to rule out the negative consequences of the boy’s presence in the forest, and a decision has been made to place him under medical supervision.
