Alexander Bastrykin gives a number of orders based on media reports

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Bastrykin instructed the Chelyabinsk Regional Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation to conduct a pre-investigative probe based on the media reports about illegal taking of children from a mother of a large family in Stepanovka village of Chelyabinsk Region.

A number of television channels reported a story about officials taking children from a hospitalised mother of a large family. Reportedly, there also was a conflict situation with the local administration concerning providing the woman with a new housing accommodations.

Furthermore, the head of the agency put the pre-investigative probe started by the Main Investigations Directorate of the IC of Russia in Moscow based on the media reports about the illegal actions of so-called "professional neighbours" with an apartment in the capital under control of the headquarters of the Investigative Committee.

In each of the mentioned cases the Chairman of the Investigative Committee instructed the subordinates to thoroughly analyze the circumstances of the events and ordered to give a legal assessment of actions of people involved in violating the citizens' rights in the shortest time possible, where legally permitted.
