The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the Central Office to supervise a pre-investigative and two investigative probes launched into accidents in Moscow and Chelyabinsk Regions reported by mass media.
Thus, in particular, a federal channel broadcast a report about a Moscow citizen with two children who cannot get into her apartment despite the fact that she has bought her share. As it was also reported, the woman has a court decision, however, her neighbors ignore it and express threats against the woman and her children. The Moscow Main Investigations Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia launched a pre-investigative probe into this fact.
One of the Internet websites published a video of Moscow school students torturing their peers and using physical force against him. A probe under the Article of the Criminal Code of Russia providing responsibility for beating.
Also, the channel broadcast a report on the death of a woman in Chelyabinsk Region. Journalists noted that at first experts reported a heart attack as the cause of death, however, relatives claim the violent nature of death and signs of beating on the body of the victim. According to the author, a probe into the infliction of severe health injuries entailing the death of the victim was launched only after the report of the relatives to mass media. Several days after investigative units of the Investigative Committee of Russia detained the husband of the victim suspected of committing the offense. It is being decided upon the suspect's deterrence and charges. Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed to carefully check all arguments of relatives of the victim on the untimely response of law enforcement bodies to the committed offense reported by mass media.
