Alexander Bastrykin takes part in celebrations of Armenia Investigative Committee anniversary

Today in Yerevan, Chairman of the Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin has taken part in celebrations dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia.

Armenia is an important partner and ally of Russia. Cooperation between our countries is based on a solid foundation of friendship and good neighborliness.

It should be noted that the invitation to personally participate in these events once again confirms the commitment of our Armenian colleagues to maintain and develop bilateral contacts between the Investigative Committees of Armenia and Russia.

On the sidelines, the celebrations have also hosted a meeting between Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin and Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan. The talks have included a profound exchange of views on a wide range of bilateral agenda items and key international topics. The parties have announced their commitment to developing and boosting cooperation in order to promptly respond to new challenges and threats.

In addition, a trilateral meeting of the Chairmen of the Investigative Committees of Armenia, Belarus, and Russia has been held, which has become a good tradition. During the meeting, the parties have discussed the results of the interagency cooperation and outlined further plans for cooperation development.

The event of this level has marked another step towards strengthening full-scale cooperation with the leadership of law enforcement agencies of the CIS countries.
