The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructs the Central Office to supervise investigation of probe into murder of a woman in Moscow Region and results of procedural probe into swindling committed against pensioners in Moscow

Yesterday a federal channel broadcast a story about a commercial company winning trust of pensioners and offering them services for money. Employees of the company concluded contacts with senior people, received payments and disappeared. The Moscow Main Investigations Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia immediately launched a pre-investigative probe into this fact. Alexander Bastrykin instructed the direction of the regional investigations directorate to carefully investigate all circumstances of deceit of senior people upon facts reported in the TV story during procedural probe and, given sufficient grounds, to bring to justice all persons involved in swindling activities.

Also, participants of one of TV shows discussed process of investigation of a probe into former Head of Ramenskiy District of Moscow Region Andrey Kulakov, accused of murder of Deputy Chairman of a local Public Chamber. The program included an anonymous version of the incident and opinion of relatives regarding the investigation process. The Chairman of the Investigative Committee instructed the Central Office to supervise investigation of this probe and ordered the Moscow Regional Main Investigations Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia to thoroughly examine all arguments provided by journalists and to identify all possible accomplices of this cruel offence.
