A probe into Muslim Yandiev, the former head of Karabulak Municipal District administration of Republic of Ingushetia, also holding position of chief of administration of the Head of the Republic of Ingushetia from May to September 2019, was launched by the Main Investigations Directorate over North Caucasian Federal District of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation as part of work for decriminalization of Republic of Ingushetia carried out by the Investigative Committee of Russia in collaboration with other law enforcement bodies. Investigative and other procedural measures aimed to establish all circumstances of the committed offences are currently being carried out. The investigation is considering pre-trial detention for Yandiev.
