In Krasnoyarsk, persons suspected of infliction of death to a 31-year-old man detained

The Main Investigations Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia is working on a probe into infliction of grave injury entailing death of a 31-year-old Krasnoyarsk citizen (Part 4 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Russia).

Today, upon review of investigative motion and examination of probe materials, the court came to a conclusion that it is necessary to put Sergey Shmelev and Andrew Shilov into custody for two months.

As it was reported earlier, on September 15 at night two friends of 24 and 29 years old arrived at the place of residence of their 31-year-old acquaintance after an argument they had during the phone call. There on the landing and then in the apartment, they inflicted multiple injuries on him.

The victim was delivered to the healthcare institution where he passed away despite the efforts of doctors.

Investigators of the Investigative Committee of Russia are carrying out all required investigative measures aimed to identify other possible participants of the conflict and to collect evidence. The investigation of the probe is under the special control of the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
