In Yaroslavl Region, a suspect of a murder of seven persons, including five children, detained

The Yaroslavl Regional Investigations Directorate continues investigation of a probe into death of seven persons, including five children, in a fire in an apartment building in Rostov.

During investigation of the probe investigators with assistance of officers of the Main Forensics Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia established that the fire was caused by fire-setting, therefore the probe was re-classified to an offence under Paragraphs A, F of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of Russia (murder of two persons, committed by a generally dangerous method).

During joint investigative and search activities investigators and officers of the Investigative Committee of Russia identified and located the person suspected of committing of this offence.

The investigation detained a Yaroslavl Region citizen born in 1982. At present he is subject to investigative actions.
