On process of investigation of a probe into juvenile citizens of Kyrinsky District accused of commission of especially grave offences

The Zabaykalsky Regional Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation continues investigation of a probe into three juveniles accused of offences under Part 4 of Article 111 (intentional infliction of severe health damage entailing by negligence death of a victim) and Part 2 of Article 132 of the Criminal Code of Russia (violent sexual actions committed by a group of persons).

To remind, the juveniles are accused of breaking in a private house on October 27, 2019 where they committed violent sexual actions against a woman and beat a 40-year-old man who subsequently died. The three accused persons were arrested on the same day; the court ruled to put two of them in custody and sentenced the third of them to house detention. 

Yesterday the fourth perpetrator, a 15-year-old resident of the same village, was arrested under suspicion of being involved in committing of this offence. Charges against the arrested person will be pressed in the nearest future; the court will also elect a restriction measure. 

Investigation of this probe is under personal supervision of Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin. Today a representative of the Main Forensics Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia arrived to Chita to provide practical and methodological assistance to investigation. Due to high impact of the case and in order to provide for full protection of rights of juvenile accused the Head of Investigations Directorate Yury Rusanov referred the probe to III Regional Major Crimes Investigation Department for further investigation. 

At present investigators are carrying out a set of investigative actions aimed to establish all circumstances of the offence.
