Chairman of Russian Investigative Committee ordered a criminal case against a man who attacked children and teacher at a playground in Stavropol Krai

One of the federal TV channels aired a story about a knife-wielding man in Stavropol Krai, who began to approach the boys on the playground while showing inappropriate behavior and shouting obscene language. A primary school teacher returning from school noticed this hazardous situation. The woman stood in front of the intruder, blocking his way, and commanded the children to run. A man grabbed a woman and threatened to kill her, but she managed to fight back and escape.

Alexander Bastrykin instructed the direction of Stavropol Regional Investigations Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia to launch a criminal case on this fact and detain the man. The investigation is under supervision of the Central Office of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
