In Stavropol Territory, man who attacked children and teacher arrested

The Stavropol Regional Investigations Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia is investigating the previously convicted man who attacked children and a teacher in Neftekumsk (Part 3 of Article 30, Paragraph I of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of Russia: attempted murder committed maliciously). At the request of the investigation, the court ruled to place Vladimir Davydov in custody.

According to investigative data, on November 9, 2019, the man armed with a knife, demonstrating inappropriate behavior and shouting obscenities, started to approach boys on a playground in Neftekumsk. A primary school teacher returning from school noticed this hazardous situation. The woman blocked the man’s way and commanded the children to run. Threatening murder, the man tried to stab her, but the woman managed to run away.

At the moment, investigative activities associated with the probe and aimed to gather evidence, are ongoing.
