Today, a federal TV channel broadcast a situation in Tatarstan, where a mother of many children from Naberezhnye Chelny allowed her six-year-old son to drive. According to the TV broadcast, the boy was driving the car at a speed of 130 kmph. It was reported that that was not the first traffic violation by this woman and not the first time she let her minor children drive.
The journalists also paid attention to the story of a 20-year-old girl with an untreatable genetic disease. The treatment plan for the girl was formulated in Moscow, though she lives in Tula Region. Doctors of the Moscow Pulmonology Research Institute prescribed her medication; however, the regional healthcare authorities believe that purchasing it for budgetary money is a waste of funds.
Moreover, journalists reported that several years ago an Ulan-Ude citizen started to fix an abandoned hockey rink at his own expense. He created a children’s club to provide an opportunity for children to play hockey; the equipped sports rink was granted to the Darkhan housing cooperative that was supposed to take care of the new facility. However, representatives of the cooperative are now demanding money for providing the hockey rink with electricity and water. Parents fear that the children will be left without the sports recreation and the local citizen who has done the good deed is forced to pay money for the maintenance of the rink.
The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the relevant regional investigations directorates to thoroughly check the facts of the citizens’ rights violations and to make decisions within the scope of competence of the investigative bodies of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
