In St. Petersburg, investigation of a probe into three teenagers accused of robbery finished

St. Petersburg Investigations Directorate finished investigation of a probe into three teenagers born in 2003 and 2004 accused of, depending on a role of each, committing offences under Part 5 of Article 33, Part 2, Part 3 of Article 162, Part 1 of Article 222, Part 2 of Article 167 of the Criminal Code of Russia (robbery, illegal traffic of firearms and ammunition, willful damage of other people’s property).

According to the probe materials, 8th-grade students of a St. Petersburg school decided to commit a robbery attack against a microcredit organization in Frunzensky District of the city. The teenagers developed a plan of the offence and found a homemade self-repeating pistol.

In the morning of March 22, 2019, the students met in Moscow District where one of them handed over to the rest the designated gun and a face mask. After that, acting according to the assigned roles, the second perpetrator entered the office of the commercial entity in order to distract the attention of the workers. Then the third of the accused took out a gun and made at least two shots at a glass wall demanding to hand him the money. After the worker of the commercial entity handed him an envelope containing 2900 roubles, the accomplices fled the scene.

The investigators collected enough evidence for the criminal case to be transferred for the conclusion of an indictment.
