The Tatarstan Republican Investigations Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia continues the investigation into a Naberezhnye Chelny citizen who allowed her six-year-old son to drive a car moving at high speed. During the investigation, investigators detected signs of another offense in the actions of the suspect; therefore, they launched a probe under Article 151.2 of the Criminal Code of Russia (involvement of a minor in committing actions dangerous for the life of the minor).
Earlier the woman posted a video in a social network showing her son’s driving a car. Into this matter, the investigation launched a probe under Article 125 (abandoning to danger) and Article 156 (failure to discharge the duties of bringing up a minor) of the Criminal Code of Russia. In this, she did not admit her guilt while being interrogated as a suspect.
Investigative activities aimed at determining of circumstances of the offense are in progress. The criminal investigation is ongoing.
The investigation is under the supervision of the Central Office of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
