Today, one of the federal TV channels reported about the disappearance of an elderly woman in Moscow, who could have been targeted by swindlers. It was reported that after her son had died, one of his friends started living in the apartment with the woman. Neighbors claim that one day the woman went missing: allegedly she was placed in a private hospital because of her deteriorating health, and no one saw her afterward. After a while, the apartment changed ownership. It was reported that the woman owned another apartment in Moscow, which also changed ownership.
The Moscow Main Investigations Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has immediately launched a pre-investigative probe; which progress and results are to be supervised by the Central Office upon the instruction of the Chairman of the Investigative Committee.
