The children visited a complex of unique objects of the Patriot Park. They also became guests of the largest puppet art centre - S.V. Obraztsov Central Puppet Theatre and Moscow Residence of Ded Moroz, receiving a first-hand experience of our traditions and art.

Riad Khaddad, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Syrian Arab Republic in the Russian Federation, became one of the honored guests of this event. He noted the friendly atmosphere and thanked the hosting party for caring and responsive attitude,

Meeting with the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia became a significant event for the children. «The Russian party does everything possible for establishing peace in your Motherland. This includes humanitarian aid Russia provides to make this tough historical moment easier for you. I want your trip to Moscow to become a winter fairytale,» - Alexander Bastrykin underlined addressing the Syrian children. During the meeting, Alexander Bastrykin told them about cadet education of the Committee, cadet educational program, their life and participation in different socially important events. The children also found out about the All-Russian Patriotic Youth Good Deeds Relay organized by the Investigative Committee of Russia and dedicated to the anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War.

Showing interest in the words of the Head of the Committee, the children expressed their gratitude to the Head of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the warm welcome and noted that they like Russia very much. Syrian children sang a song and recited poems about mother.

In conclusion of the meeting, Alexander Bastrykin presented gifts to all the children and noted that in future the program of inviting Syrian children to Russia will be extended.

A trip to Moscow became a New Year present of some kind for the Syrian children.
