Investigative Committee officers visit Skolkovsky Center for Family Upbringing Assistance

Today, officers of the Central Office of the Investigative Committee of Russia have visited the Skolkovsky Center for Family Upbringing Assistance. Last year, the Investigative Committee of Russia took patronage over this institution and the officers have already made friends with children and workers of the center who care for their pupils with all their hearts and do their utmost to make their life socially active and joyful. Disabled children live and undergo rehabilitation in this center. Most of the inmates are children left without parental care. However, the Skolkovsky Center also provides assistance to parents upbringing children with special development needs. The institution has all the necessary conditions: sensory rooms, massage and procedural cabinets, and playrooms. The center carries out work for the placement of children in families since a warm home and loving family are the best environment for every child.

On the eve of the New Year, officers of the Investigative Committee of Russia have arranged a magic holiday for the children. They have organized a New Year program specifically for the inmates - Ded Moroz and Snegurochka and their favorite cartoon characters have come to visit them. Children have been fascinated with dances and games. At the end of the event, all children have received gifts.

Apart from that, officers of the Investigative Committee of Russia have presented to the center with equipment needed for rehabilitation of children - a wheelchair and a multifunctional standing frame used for rehabilitation in cases of injuries and diseases of the spinal cord and cerebral palsy. Representatives of the Investigative Committee have wished children and their parents, doctors, and teachers of the center happy New Year, good health, and prosperity.
