In response to the address of Russian State Duma deputy Vera Ganzya about bankruptcy of Novosibirsk "Tyazhstangidropress" plant and its wage arrears Alexander Bastrykin instructed the Investigations Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia to promptly launch a probe and achieve real help to people under the probe investigation. 

Alexander Bastrykin also instructed the direction of Novosibirsk Regional Investigations Directorate to motion the court on arrest of a person suspected of committing a car accident in Vengerovo settlement of Vengerovsky District of Novosibirsk region entailing death of a 10-year-old girl. The Investigations Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia launched a probe under Paragraph A of Part 4 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of Russia (violation of the rules for traffic safety, committed by a person under influence of alcohol, entailing by negligence death of a person).

Ar reported earlier, in the evening of April 24, 2021 down Lenina street of Vengerovo settlement of Vengerovsky District of Novosibirsk region a 19-year-old local citizen without a driver's license, being under influence of alcohol, collided with oncoming 10-year-old girl riding a bike. The child died of the inflicted injuries in an ambulance car on the way to a hospital. The suspect was detained.
