In relation to an appeal to the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia published in mass media on the fact of law enforcement bodies inaction in establishing circumstances of disappearance of Great Patriotic War veteran Vasily Lukyanchikov in Zabaikalsky Territory in late 1990-s the head of the Committee instructed the investigative department to timely report about the progress of investigation of the probe launched under Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of Russia. Also, upon decision of Alexander Bastrykin, forensic investigators of the Central Office of the Investigative Committee of Russia will be also engaged in the investigation.
Apart from that, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed directions of Udmurt Republican and Perm Territorial investigative departments to report on progress of investigation of a probe into injuring of children caused by falling of a lodge grid of a residential building of Sarapul (Part 1, Article 238 of the Criminal Code of Russia) and of a procedural probe into death of a woman born in 1943 in a Perm medical facility due to inadequate medical care reported by mass media/ Alexander Bastrykin ordered the directions of the investigative departments to carefully study all arguments given by mass media.
The head of the Committee put the process and results of investigation of the probes under supervision of the Central Office of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
