As established by investigation, in 2018 the senior police officer of Sterlitamak Interior Ministry Department anonymously reported to the police that BashHolding LLC produced and stored agrochemical products without relevant documents. After that, in terms of an inspection carried out by him, the police officer organized seizure of the said products of total value of over 220 million rubles from the company warehouse in Sterlitamak and transported the products to two other warehouses without filing any documents for safekeeping.

Afterwards the police officer with accomplices, having failed to agree with direction of the company on termination of inspection and return of seized products for cash remuneration of 100 million rubles, in order to legitimize the illegal seizure of products, attracted a specialist-expert and the head of the local department of Rospotrebnazdor (Federal Service for Supervision of Consumers Protection), who issued a deliberately false act of inspection of the warehouse, allegedly containing violations of sanitary and epidemiological requirements for the goods revealed in the warehouse of the enterprise, in connection to which the seized agrochemicals were subject to destruction.

The accused and his accomplices subsequently sold part of the products worth over 93 million rubles to agricultural enterprises, including products of total value of over 22 million rubles sold under supply contracts in order to legitimize the deals.

The accused didn't admit their guilt in the committed offenses. The accused police officer was suspended from fulfillment of official duties.

The movable and unmovable property of the accused was arrested in order to ensure fulfillment of sentences and compensation of inflicted damage.

At present, the indictment for this probe has been approved; after the accused receive a copy of it, the probe will be referred to court to be tried on the merits.
