Alexander Bastrykin requested a report on investigation of circumstances of several deaths in a Moscow private clinic reported by a federal channel a day before. It was noted that several patients including a well-known produced died during a short period. Relatives of the patients complained that their loved ones were actually forcibly kept in wards, while the prices for treatment reached several hundred thousand rubles. The Moscow Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia is investigating a probe (Paragraph C of Part 2, Part 1 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of Russia) into death of a woman in May 2021. It was refused to initiate a probe into death of a man in 2020. The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed to check the completeness and objectivity of the assessment activities.
On May 24, 2021 a 9th grade student of a general school in Kalininsky settlement of Mozdoksky district of the Republic of North Ossetia - Alania felt unwell. The girl was urgently hospitalized but died on the way to the hospital. The Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia launched a pre-investigative probe into this matter. Alexander Bastrykin requested a report on its progress and put it under supervision of the Central Office of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
Apart from that, Alexander Bastrykin put under supervision the progress of investigation of a probe into a 20-year-old young man suspected of damaging Malaya Zemlya memorial complex (Paragraph B of Part 2 of Article 243.4 of the Criminal Code of Russia) in Krasnodar Territory. Mass media published a video of the half-naked man throwing bottles at Malaya Zemlya memorial complex, perpetuating the memory of those who died during the Great Patriotic War, in the hero-city of Novorossiysk. As a result of his unlawful actions, the upper layer of the memorial slabs was damaged. The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia also demanded a report on the probe.
Apart from that, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia to report on the progress of investigative actions in relation to a probe into death of children in a road accident in Stavropol Territory. As reported previously, the accident involving 3 vehicles occurred in Grachevsky district of Stavropol Region and took lives of 5 children.
