The Investigative Committee finished investigation of a probe into mediation in bribery

The Main Investigative Department over North Caucasian Federal District of the Investigative Committee of Russia has finished investigation of a probe into a resident of Dagestan Republic Burliyat Gabitova accused of committing offenses under Paragraphs A, B of Part 3 of Article 291.1 of the Criminal Code of Russia (mediation in bribery).

During preliminary investigation it was established that in 2016 and 2017 Gabitova received money in a total amount of 450,000 rubles from a number of residents of Levashinsky district of the Dagestan Republic to hand it over as a bribe to officials of the Bureau of Medical and Social Expertise in the Republic of Dagestan of the Russian Labor Ministry for illegal establishment (prolongation) of disability for children of the said citizens.

Later Gabitova handed the money over to another mediator Nuria Janborieva who handed a part of it in the amount of 430,000 rubles through a third person the head of Bureau No. 37 of the Bureau of Medical and Social Expertise in the Republic of Dagestan of the Russian Labor Ministry Zaira Agaeva. The later in her turn illegally established and prolongated disabilities of the minors.

Probes into Janborieva and Agaeva have also been launched and subject to preliminary investigation.

The probe with the approved indictment has been sent to court to be tried on the merits.
