In Altai Territory, probe launched into negligence of supervisory authorities entailing injuring of minors at trampoline rollover

The Altai Territorial Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia launched a probe under Part 2 of Article 293 of the Criminal Code of Russia (neglect of duty entailing by negligence infliction of severe heath damage) into inadequate fulfillment of duties by authorities.

As established by investigation, on May 30, 2021 an inflatable trampoline near a mall in Barnaul rolled over having children on it. As a result, two girls, 3 and 4 years old, receive injuries causing severe health damage.

This offense resulted from inadequate fulfillment of duties by Altai territorial supervisory authorities.

Under investigation of the probe the investigators of the Investigative Committee of Russia will give principal legal assessment to the authorities in terms of negligence.
