The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia requested a report on the progress of investigation into a minor that received burns in Kirov Region. As reported earlier, on June 14, 2021 a 10-year-old girl walking in the yard of her house unattended by her parents, fell into hot water of the heating system. As a result of the fall, the child received 40% of body burns. The Kirov Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia launched a probe under Paragraph C of Part 2 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of Russia (fulfillment of works or rendering services that do not meet safety requirements entailing by negligence infliction of severe health damage).
Apart from that, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia requested a report on a probe into minors in Primorsky Territory having desecrated a monument to the Hero of Russia Oleg Peshkov in Arsenyev. They are suspected of committing an offense under Part 2 of Article 214 of the Criminal Code of Russia (vandalism, that is, desecration of other structures, damage to property in public places, committed by a group of persons).
Apart from that, Alexander Bastrykin instructed to report about progress of investigation of a probe into insulting the feelings of believers in Moscow. As reported earlier, on June 11, 2021 a group of persons near a residential building on Nagorny Boulevard in Moscow publicly committed acts expressing clear disrespect for others, in order to offend the religious feelings of believers. The Moscow Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia is investigating a probe under Part 1 of Article 148 of the Criminal Code of Russia (violation of the right to freedom of conscience and religion, expressing clear disrespect for society and committed in order to insult the religious feelings of believers).
Also, Alexander Bastrykin requested a report on a probe into rendering of unsafe services in Penza Region. Recently, from the information disseminated on the Internet, it became known about the life- and health-threatening activities of teenagers in the Stroitel children's health camp in the Gorodishchensky District of Penza Region. The Penza Regional Investigative Department is carrying out the required investigative actions in terms of investigation of a probe under Part 1 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of Russia.
The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia put the progress of investigation of the probes under supervision of the Central Office of the Committee.
Apart from that, Alexander Bastrykin requested a report from the head of the Moscow Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia on a pre-investigative probe into information spread in mass media about a former children's home inmate in Moscow having gone on a hunger strike in connection with the allegedly illegally being brought to administrative responsibility by the police.
