The Investigative Committee of Russia launched a probe under Part 3 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Russia (violation of rules for safety and operation of air transport) into the aircraft accident that occurred today with an L-410 aircraft.

According to preliminary data, around 10 AM local time on June 19, 2021 the L-410 aircraft crashed during a training flight in Tanai airport of Kemerovo Region. At present it is known that the accident killed 4 people, information about other victims is being clarified.

Upon instruction of the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia investigators and forensic experts of the Committee were sent to the scene. The further investigation is under supervision.
