The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia requested a report on progress and preliminary results of investigation of a probe into murder of a 13-year-old girl in Kirov Region (Paragraph С of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of Russia). A suspect was detained, at present the investigation is considering pre-trial detention for him.
The head of the Investigative Committee of Russia also requested a report on investigation of a disappearance of 3 children on Ussuri River in Primorsky Territory. A body of one child with signs of drowning has already been discovered, search for other two children with the involvement of the EMERCOM, police and volunteers. In terms of the investigation Alexander Bastrykin instructed to establish causes and conditions that could facilitate the incident.
Apart from that, the attention of the Chairman of Investigative Committee of Russia was drawn to an incident with a girl in a children's camp in Gelendzhik, beaten by her peer in presence of other teenagers. The Krasnodar Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia have initiated the transfer of the probe materials from internal affairs bodies.
Alexander Bastrykin instructed the Central Office of the Investigative Committee of Russia to supervise investigation of all circumstances of incidents involving children.
In addition, the Moscow Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia organized a procedural assessment in connection with the appeal of the fashion designer Vyacheslav Zaitsev about possible unlawful actions of selling property belonging to him and threats he is receiving in this relation, and invited a representative of the fashion designer to a personal reception at the Moscow department of the Investigative Committee to present all arguments. Upon instruction of the Head of the Investigative Committee of Russia, the progress and the results of the assessment will be also supervised.
