In Kaliningrad, a probe launched into distortion of information about circumstances that pose a danger to the life and health of people

The Kaliningrad Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia launched a probe into distortion of information about circumstances that pose a danger to the life and health of people and pose a threat of spreading of the new coronavirus infection, committed by officials of the Kaliningrad City Hospital No. 4 (Part 1 of Article 237 of the Criminal Code of Russia).

According to the investigation, officials of the medical institution, with the complicity of the administrator of the outpatient department of the city hospital, did not vaccinate a number of residents of the region against the new coronavirus infection, forged the vaccination certificates and entered deliberately false information about the vaccination of these persons in the federal register of vaccinated persons. Thus, as the investigation believes, the information about the facts posing a danger to human life and health, intended for residents of the Kaliningrad region and the authorities authorized to take measures to eliminate the danger, was distorted, and a threat of the spread of coronavirus infection (2019-nCov) was created.

At present, a full-scale volume of investigative actions is being carried out under the probe in order to establish in detail all the circumstances of the crime committed, the circle of persons to be prosecuted, and possible additional episodes of criminal activity.

Apart from that, the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia accepted for processing a probe into administration of the said hospital suspected of forgery of certificates of vaccination of citizens against the new coronavirus infection for cash remuneration (Part 1 of Article 327 of the Criminal Code of Russia).
