A media article was published today on the progress of the probe into the death of a 14-year-old boy in the village of Torgun, Staropoltavskiy district, Volgograd Region. The article presents the parents' position on what happened and points out the shortcomings of the preliminary investigation in clarifying the circumstances of their son's death.

Alexander Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, instructed the head of the Volgograd Region Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia to promptly report on the progress of the probe and examine all the arguments presented in the media.
