The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the direction of Samara Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia to report on the performed set of investigative actions under a probe into a police officer charged with a murder of a young girl (Article 105 of the Criminal Code of Russia). Upon the investigative motion the court placed the accused into custody.
Apart from that the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia put under supervision the progress of investigation of a probe into murder of a 10-month-old child in Tyva Republic (Paragraph C of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of Russia). According to investigation, on July 29, 2021 in a private house in Kyzyl, a 22-year-old local citizen was babysitting a 10-year-old child of her relative. While drinking alcohol with her acquaintance she, driven by jealousy, tried to stab the man who was holding the baby, with a knife. At present the woman has been detained and charged.
Apart from that, a video has been posted on the Internet that shows how a man attacks a traffic police officer in Yeisk and then runs away. The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the head of the Krasnodar Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia to report on all circumstances of the incident and to give legal assessment to actions of the attacker.
All the said materials are to be supervised by the Central Office of the Committee.
