Alexander Bastrykin instructed the heads of a number of regional investigative departments to report on the circumstances of incidents and violations of the rights of citizens in different regions of Russia, which became known from social networks.
Thus, the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan is investigating a criminal case initiated under Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Russia on the fact of malfeasance in the implementation of the program for the resettlement of people from emergency housing. In addition, investigative authorities of Investigative Committee of Russia in Leningrad region organized an investigation into a similar violation of the rights of citizens during the resettlement of an entire street in the town of Shlisselburg from emergency houses. A report on both situations will be submitted to the president.
The Lipetsk Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia, basing on the results of the verification of the message revealed in the social networks about the unlawful actions of the mother in respect of the young child and the improper conditions of his upbringing, initiated a criminal case under Article 156 of the Criminal Code. Also as part of the investigation a legal assessment will be given to the actions of officials responsible for the proper control of the upbringing and maintenance of children in dysfunctional families. The progress of the investigation will also be reported to the head of the department.
In addition Alexander Bastrykin instructed to promptly report on the situation with the restoration of the rights of orphans in Nizhny Novgorod region, which were given substandard housing.
The head of the Investigative Committee also demanded a report on the progress of the criminal investigation into environmental violations during works in Uglegorsk district of Sakhalin region.
Another reason for the report to the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia was the message in social networks about possible misconduct of officials of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Crimea during the investigation of the circumstances of a crime against the sexual inviolability of a minor committed in 2009. The head of the Committee instructed the direction of the investigative body to report on the grounds for the termination of the criminal case.
In addition, in connection with the dissemination in the social media information about the attempted murder of an environmental activist in Lyubertsy Alexander Bastrykin instructed his subordinates in the Moscow Main Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia to report on the circumstances of the attack on him.
