The St. Petersburg Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia continues preliminary inquiry into collapse of tower ceiling of a historical building – Valentina Krivdina’s dacha, that occurred on July 31, 2021. The first floor of the building is inhabited by a large family. The Chairman instructed the direction of the St. Petersburg Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia to report on actions taken in terms of the inquiry.
Apart from that, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia requested a report on possible illegal actions with another St. Petersburg historical building – Writer’s House – and to carry out a pre-investigative inquiry if there are grounds.
Alexander Bastrykin also demanded a report on a situation with a seriously ill resident of besieged Leningrad, whose relatives complain on impossibility to obtain medicine for her timely treatment. The head of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the St. Petersburg Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia to take extensive measures to restore the rights of the siege victim.
