The Investigative Department for the Central Administrative District of the Moscow Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia is investigating a probe into Moscow notary Dmitry Bubliy, and also Mikhail Tsivin and Natalya Drozhzhina. Depending on the role of the each, they are accused of committing offenses provided for by Paragraph 5 of Article 33, Part 4 of Article 159 (swindling committed on an especially large scale and assistance to swindling) and Part 1 of Article 202 of the Criminal Code of Russia (abuse of power of private notaries and auditors).

As previously reported, the widow and daughter of the famous actor Batalov Maria fraudulently lost her share in a four-room apartment, the actor's workshop, two apartments, one of which is located in the center of Moscow, as well as a large sum of money. Under the probe MIkhail Tsivin and Natalya Drozhzhina were charged with swindling on an especially large scale.

During investigation it was established that Bubliy produced life maintenance contracts, on the basis of which a share in the apartment on Serafimovicha Street, an apartment in the 1st Samotechny Lane and non-residential premises belonging to Maria Batalova became property of Mikhail Tsivin and Natalia Drozhzhina. Subsequently, Bubliy certified the signatures of the victims - Maria Batalova and her legal representative Gitana Leontenko - without their presence, as evidenced by the absence of the victims' signatures in the register of notarial actions. According to the investigation, in carrying out these actions, Bubliy abused his powers and facilitated the theft of property worth more than 35 million rubles.

Searches were carried out at the notary's place of residence, during the interrogation Bubliy confirmed the fact that he had certified the contracts without the presence of the victims and gave detailed testimony incriminating Tsivin and Drozhzhina.

Today, the investigation motions the court to elect for Dmitry Bubliy a preventive measure in the form of a ban on certain actions and dismissal. The necessary investigative actions are being carried out in order to collect and consolidate the evidence base. The criminal investigation is ongoing.
