The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia requests a report on progress of investigation of a probe into disappearance of a minor in Krasnoyarsk Region

The Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Krasnoyarsk Region and Republic of Khakassia is investigating a probe into disappearance of a 14-year-old teenager that left home on July 11 and whose location is still unknown (Article 105 of the Criminal Code of Russia). The investigative bodies have organized search activities for the minor and are carrying out a set of investigative activities aimed to locate him.

In July of the current year an unknown person contacted the mother of the missing boy. He informed the woman that he has the boy and demanded money for his return. The said version of disappearance of the boy will be checked by investigation.

Alexander Bastrykin instructed the direction of the regional investigative department to report on the progress of investigation of the probe. The results of the investigation will be put under supervision of the Central Office of the Committee.
