The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed of the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Region and the Republic of Khakassia to report on the progress of investigation of probes launched in relation to murder of a family of five persons in Dzhirim settlement of Shirinsky District of the Republic of Khakassia under Article 105 and Article 293 of the Criminal Code of Russia.
As reported earlier, on August 5, 2021 a 35-year-old resident of Dzhirim settlement of Shirinsky District on the grounds of personal animosity toward his former acquaintance, went to the house where her family lived during her absence, and stabbed members of the family, including an 8-year-old child. The victims died at the scene of the inflicted wounds. The man has already been charged with committing of a murder (Paragraphs A, C of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of Russia). The testimonies were verified at the scene, and during the verification procedure the suspect told about the circumstances of the committed murders. Today, upon request of the investigation, the suspect was put into custody.
Apart from that, during investigation of the probe into murder the materials into negligence of Shirinsky District Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs authorities were transferred to a separate proceeding. According to the investigation, employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs upon receiving information about the arrival on the supervised territory of a previously convicted 35-year-old resident of Shirinsky district, released on February 10, 2021 from places of detention in the Tyva Republic, for which administrative supervision was established, failed to take measures to identify the supervised person and conduct preventive measures with him. The negligent inaction led to grave consequences in a form of a murder of 5 persons.
Upon instruction of the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia the investigation of the probes and their results will be supervised by the Central Office of the Committee.
