Alexander Bastrykin holds a briefing in Saint Petersburg

In terms of a working visit to St. Petersburg the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin held a briefing devoted to issues of reconstruction and construction of buildings for educational institutions of the Investigative Committee of Russia located in St. Petersburg and Petergof. The event was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Segey Goryaynov, heads of educational institutions and the Cultural Center of the Committee, representatives of the state committee for state control, use and preservation of historical and cultural monuments of St. Petersburg, Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture of St. Petersburg, as well as construction organizations. 

The head of the Committee listened to reports on fulfillment of instructions given at the last briefing and a report on current stages of works in progress. Sergey Goryaynov reported on activities for construction and reconstruction of a complex of buildings on Moika Embarkment and in Petergof, on upcoming activities and their volumes. 

The participants of the briefing discussed relevant issues of design and reconstruction of the buildings. Alexander Bastrykin once again reminded of the need to preserve the historical appearance of buildings, care and scrupulousness in the performance of work in compliance with all regulations and requirements.

The head of the department was also reported on the level of equipment of classes and facilities in the building of the boarding house of pupils of the Investigative Committee of Russia, where the girls will begin studying on September 1. In addition, the question of the readiness of all educational institutions in the North Capital for the new school year was raised.

Alexander Bastrykin underlined that study conditions must comply with the requirements, contribute to the effectiveness of the educational process and absorption of study programs by children and be comfortable.

At the end of the meeting Alexander Bastrykin gave a number of specific instructions aimed at prompt solution of all discussed issues and ensuring comprehensive readiness of departmental educational institutions for the beginning of the school year.
