Alexander Bastrykin demanded from the head of the Irkutsk Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia a report on investigation of a probe into violation of children's rights in a boarding school in Kvitok labor settlement. Depending on the role of each, the investigators pressed charges against deputy director for educational outreach work, two teachers and a nurse under Paragraph A of Part 3 of Article 286 (abuse of power with use of violence), Article 156 (failure to fulfill duties of upbringing a minor), Paragraph D of Part 2 of Article 117 of the Criminal Code of Russia (torture of a minor).
