Alexander Bastrykin requests a report on progress of investigation of a probe into rendering of poor quality services in a Moscow private clinic

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin instructed the Main Investigative Department to report on the progress of the investigation of the criminal case on the provision of services by LLC "Medicine 24/7" that did not meet safety requirements (Paragraph "C" of Part 2 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of Russia). Previously, the criminal case was transferred to the Central Office of the Investigative Committee of Russia for a comprehensive investigation by decision of the head of the agency after a personal reception of citizens whose relatives were treated at a private clinic and died.

The media, along with reports about improper provision of services, also reported about possible fraud with the property of Vladimir Artsibashev, who died in the same clinic. According to journalists, the inheritance ended up in the ownership of third parties associated with this clinic.

In this regard, Alexander Bastrykin demanded a report on investigative actions that have already been carried out and expert examinations that were appointed within the framework of the criminal case. In addition, the head of the Committee instructed to study the information released in the media and give it a legal assessment in conjunction with the already established facts.
