The Krasnodar Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia finished investigation of a probe into an entrepreneur accused of committing and offense under Paragraph A of Part 2 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of Russia (rendering of services that do not meet safety requirements, committed by a group of persons under preliminary conspiracy).
The investigation found that an individual entrepreneur born in 1979, acting as a group of persons by prior conspiracy with a mercenary motive and with the purpose of deriving systematic profit, organized a service for citizens to participate for a fee as participants in competitions and spectators. The defendant and his accomplices organized and conducted on a commercial basis technical sports competitions related to motor racing on the track with numerous violations, which posed a threat to the safety of life or health of citizens. The criminal case against the unidentified accomplices is currently suspended.
The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin requested a report on the circumstances established during the investigation of the criminal case.
