The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin instructed the head of the Moscow Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia to timely report on the results of investigation of a probe into negligence of authorities responsible for relocation of citizens from an emergency house in Balashikha, Moscow Region (Article 293 of the Criminal Code of Russia). A video criticizing the progress and the results of the investigation is spreading in a social network. It is reported that the walls are crumbling in the building, the floors are decaying, the electrical wiring is dilapidated, the house was recognized as emergency, but the residents have not been resettled.
The head of the Committee instructed subordinates to comprehensively study the completeness of the investigation, as well as to check the legality and validity of the procedural decision taken.
