The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia requests reports on a number of incidents with children

Chairman of Investigative Committee of Russia instructed M.V. Mokshin, the head of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug-Yugra Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia to report on the investigation of the criminal case on the death of a child in 2011 (Paragraph C of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of Russia). The body of a 12-year-old girl was found in a sewer well located in a wooded area not far from one of the apartment buildings in the city of Nyagan, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug-Yugra.

In addition, the head of the Dagestan Republican Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia requested from A.P. Shchurov a report on the progress of the procedural check on the incident with children in the city of Makhachkala. According to investigators, on August 27, 2021 in the evening in an uninhabited room there was a gas-air mixture explosion, which injured two minors aged 12 and 13. They were delivered to a medical facility to be provided with the necessary medical care. The process of the pre-investigative probe is under the supervision of the Central Office of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

Also, a number of media reported on the search for a man suspected of committing an offense of a sexual nature against a 12-year-old girl from St. Petersburg. The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the acting head of the St. Petersburg Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia A.D. Golombievsky to submit a detailed report on the incident and put the progress of the inspection under supervision of the Central Office of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
