The head of the Investigative Committee instructed to report on the progress of the investigation into the criminal case of disappearance of a girl in the Republic of Udmurtia, which occurred 7 years ago


The media recalls the story of Masha Markova, a 15-year-old resident of Votkinsk, who disappeared in Udmurtia seven years ago. The girl went out for a short walk and disappeared without a trace. An active search was launched almost immediately, but Masha was never found.

Following the standard procedure, the Udmurt Republican Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia launched a probe under Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of Russia. The girl is still being searched for (https://udm.sledcom.ru/attention/missing_child/item/871055/)

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the head of the Udmurt Republican Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia R. R. Tugushev, to report on the progress of investigation, on the data collected on the circumstances of the disappearance, the versions of the investigation and plans for further investigations.
