Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia orders to report about a number of regional incidents


The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the acting head of Novosibirsk Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia Badulin A. N. to present a report on circumstances of an incident with shooting in Novosibirsk. The Novosibirsk Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia launched a probe under Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code of Russia. According to preliminary data, a man, being in a state of alcoholic intoxication, being in an apartment in Novosibirsk, fired indiscriminately from a hunting weapon at citizens who were in the adjoining territory. As a result of the man's illegal actions five people were injured, two of them were taken to a medical facility for the necessary medical care. The progress of investigation is under the supervision of the Central Office of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

Apart from that, the head of the Committee instructed the acting head of the St. Petersburg Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia Golombievsky A. D. to present a report on circumstances of a discovery of a body of a 39-year-old woman that worked as a shop assistant in Kalininsky District (Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of Russia). A 42-year-old citizen of Uzbekistan was detained at Moscow airport as a result of investigative actions and operative search operations and was taken to St. Petersburg. At present he has been charged; the matter of the preventive measure will soon be decided upon. He confessed during interrogation. The progress of investigation is under the supervision of the Central Office of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

Moreover, the head of the Sverdlovsk Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia Boginsky M. V. was instructed to report on the investigative actions taken in terms of a probe into attempted murder of a woman by her ex-husband. Previously the woman expressed her dissatisfaction with the progress of the investigation through mass media. Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin requested a detailed report and put the progress of the investigation under supervision of the Central Office of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the head of the Sakhalin Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia Bazarov B.B. to report on the investigative action taken in relation to disappearance of two local residents, born in 1988 and 1971, who went into the woods near Mount Vaida and have not yet been located. The progress of investigation is under the supervision of the Central Office of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

One of the Internet platforms published an article including the appeal to the Head of Investigative Committee of Russia saying that on August 20, 2021 in immediate proximity to the municipal institution MBU "Severnoe" that traps and sterilizes stray dogs in Volgograd there were found places with mass burials of animals. The Chairman of Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the Head of the Volgograd Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia Semenov V. I. to organize inspection on this information about cruel treatment of animals in Volgograd.
