The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed A. S. Bezukladnikov, the acting head of The Investigative Department over Kemerovo Region - Kuzbass, to report on the progress of the criminal investigation into the murder of the woman and her two children (Paragraphs A and C of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code).
According to investigators, the bodies of a 28-year-old woman, her 9-year-old son and 7-year-old daughter with signs of violent death were found in a flat in Yashkinskiy district on 1 September. In the course of the investigation and investigative measures, an acquaintance of the deceased was detained. Today the court ruled to keep the 27-year-old resident of Yashkinskiy district in custody and charged him with the offence.
The defendant will be subjected to a psychiatric assessment as part of the criminal investigation.
The progress of investigation is under the supervision of the Central Office of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
