The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia requests a report on information reported by mass media

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the head of the Tambov Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia Polshakov A.N. to report on the circumstances of the disappearance of a 14-year-old resident of Michurinsk in Moscow.  Investigators and forensic specialists of the Investigative Committee in cooperation with officers of internal affairs carried out a set of procedural actions aimed at establishing his whereabouts. Operational and investigative activities were conducted in the Tambov and Moscow Regions. This morning, law enforcement officers located the teenager. The young man was in Chekhov, Moscow region, in the apartment of an acquaintance with whom he communicated through social networks. All circumstances of the incident are being established. The progress of fulfillment of the instruction is to be supervised by the Central Office of the Committee.

In addition, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the head of the Voronezh Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia K. Levit to report on the circumstances of the attack on the 10-year-old girl on September 7. The media reported that an unknown man grabbed the child by the hair and tried to cover her mouth, but the girl broke free and ran away. The units of the Investigative Committee of Russia are currently checking the information. The progress of the assessment is under the supervision of the Central Office of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

The head of the Committee also instructed the Head of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Rostov region Khuada A.G. to report on the progress of the investigation into the death of a 40-year-old local resident in a hospital in Rostov. Earlier, the wife of the deceased had expressed dissatisfaction with the course of the criminal investigation in the media.

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the head of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District, A.N. Yegorov, to initiate a criminal case based on information from the media that in the town of Nadym teenagers beat and robbed a disabled boy in the entrance hall of a residential building. The progress is under the supervision of the Central Office of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
